for buyers
how refunds work
short answer: if the event was cancelled, you get everything back. if you’re changing your plans, it depends on the organizer’s policy.
the event was cancelled
you’ll get 100% back automatically, within 5–7 business days. no action needed. this includes our 6% + $0.50 buyer fee — we never keep our cut on cancellations.
the event was rescheduled
we email you with two buttons: keep your ticket for the new date, or refund in full. you have 14 days to decide. no reply = ticket stays valid.
you can’t make it
it depends on the organizer’s refund policy, shown on the event page and on your receipt:
- refundable anytime — one-click refund from orders.
- refundable 24h / 7d before doors — self-serve up to the cutoff.
- all sales final — you can transfer to a friend.
- exchange-only — we’ll swap for another of the organizer’s events.
how long does the money take?
the refund appears on your statement in 5–7 business days. some banks are faster. if it’s been 10 days, email us.
do i get the buyer fee back?
on cancellation or rescheduling: yes, every cent. on a buyer-initiated refund under the event’s policy: yes, every cent. we don’t do “non-refundable fees”.
